Bookazines are a combination of books and magazines with a niche subject matter but are more permanent physically. WHY XY is a collection of articles that highlight the heteronormative nature of the music industry and features artists from the US, South Korea and India that defy it with their own music and performance.The elements that make up WHY XY’s spreads include digital illustration, photo editing, expressive typography, thoughtful compositional layout, and knowledge in print production.
